Bio

Leonel Rozo is a postdoctoral researcher at the Learning and Interaction Group working under the supervision of Sylvain Calinon. He received his bachelor's degree in mecatronics engineering from the "Nueva Granada" Military University (Bogota,Colombia - 2005), and received his master's degree in automatic control and robotics (2007), and Ph.D in Robotics (2013) from the Polytechnical University of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain). He did his PhD research at the "Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial CSIC-UPC" under the supervision of Carme Torras and Pablo Jiménez. His research interests are robot learning from demonstration, physical human-robot interaction, machine learning techniques, haptic feedback and teleoperation.
