The talk, covered different aspects of the evolution of artificial intelligence in humanoid robots. In particular, Professor Metta demonstrated how nature has inspired the construction of some of the components of the intelligent humanoid robot iCub and explain how in order to build an artificial intelligence comparable to a human being it is crucial that the robot must have a human-like body. Many the questions asked by the public while the kids played with the little robot before and after Metta's talk.

The 2013/2014 Scientific Cafès are organized by the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia and the Chamber of Commerce of Genoa with the group of Giovani Ascom - Confcommercio Genoa.
