After the success of Tokyo "Italy of the Future" debuts in the United States

Genoa 17 July 2013 - The exhibition "Italy of the Future", organized by the National Research Council in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and the Scuola Superiore  Sant'Anna of Pisa, dedicated to robotics, medicine, transportation, preservation of cultural heritage, arrived in San Francisco on July 12, where it will remain until August 23.

IIT will display: the iCub humanoid robot and a paw of the quadruped robot HyQ, robotic devices for rehabilitation of the wrist and ankle ('Wristbot' and 'Artbot'), the third-generation solar cells.

The opening of the exhibition took place last April  in Tokyo, at the Italian Institute of Culture, where the Italian excellence in science, technology and innovation was presented to the world of Japanese research and industry through a series of seminars, meetings and very successful events (

The exhibition that will last throughout 2013 in various Italian Institutes of Culture, presents the most significant Italian scientific and technological excellence, ranging from robotics, particle physics, medicine, restoration techniques and enhancement of archaeological and cultural heritage, transportations.

Next steps: Los Angeles (from 5 September to 4 October), Budapest (from 26 November to 18 December).
