The second edition of “Tech to School” has just been successfully concluded. “Tech to School” is an educational project in which IIT meets the students of several secondary schools. The event has been promoted in collaboration with Fondazione Garrone, with the main goal of approaching new generations to scientific and technologic matters. The first edition of the project took place in 2012 and the second one is taking place in 2013 involving more than 600 students, between 16 and 18 years old.

During the meetings at IIT, the students interact with the young researchers of the different department of the institute discovering their research on robotics, pharmacology, nano-biotechnology, computer vision and neuroscience.

Other partners in the project are, beside the Fondazione Garrone and IIT, the Ufficio Scolastico Regionale of Liguria and Università degli Studi of Genova.
